Ragusa Named to Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - After recording her league-leading fourth shutout of the season in the win against Villanova, Temple field hockey goalie Megan Ragusa has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. This is the third honor for the graduate student, and the second straight week she has earned the nod.
Ragusa allowed three goals against Delaware and recorded her fourth shutout of the season in the win over Villanova. She made nine saves on 15 shots faced, including a season-high seven against the Blue Hens.
The Wake Forest, N.C. native leads the conference in GAA (1.14) and is second in save percentage (0.766). Ragusa led a defensive unit that successfully defended eight of 10 penalty corners and allowed just two shots from the Wildcats.
The Owls will resume league play at Georgetown Friday in their lone game of the weekend.Â
