Kopec Named to Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Temple field hockey freshman Julianne Kopec has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league Tuesday morning. This is Kopec's second-straight nod.
The West Long Branch, N.J. native scored a pair of goals over the weekend, including the game-winner over Hofstra. She leads the team in total goals with four, averaging one goal per game. Kopec fired two shots, putting them both on target, and is now tied for the lead in shots with seven.
Temple will return to the field Sunday afternoon, heading to Connecticut for the first of a two-game road stint.
