Frey, Muller Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - After impressive performances in the shootout win over Providence on Friday afternoon, two Temple field hockey players have been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. This is the third nod for Frey and the second for Muller.

Frey just one goal in the shootout victory over the Friars as well as allowing just one of four Providence stroke attempts. The Eagleville, Pa. native posted three of Temple's four saves and led a defense that successfully defended the Friars' lone penalty corner.

Muller scored the equalizer to keep the Owls in the game, firing four shots and putting two on target. The Naarden, Netherlands native helped Temple win 3-1 in the stroke-off by making her attempt.

Temple will return to the pitch Friday afternoon for a road matchup against No. 16 Liberty to continue league play.
