Turner Places 24th at North American Cup

SALT LAKE CITY - Saberist Zoe Turner earned a 24th place finish at the North American Cup in her first USA Fencing event of the year.Â
Coming out of pool play, Turner was the 27th seed and earned a first round bye. The Portland, Ore. native defeated Dagny Johnson 15-9 in the Round of 64 before falling to the No. 6 seed Adele Bois 15-5 in the Round of 32.Â
The Owls will return to the strip in January at the January NAC in Louisville, Ky. before opening 2023 collegiate play at the Penn State Invitational on Jan. 15.
