FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The No. 11 Temple fencing team closed the 2022 calendar year out with a bang, going 4-1 at the Sacred Heart Duals on Sunday.
Meet Summary
> The Owls opened the day with a win, topping NJIT 15-12.
> Temple continued its strong showing in its second match, topping No. 1 NYU (DIII) 19-8.
> The Cherry and White saw its lone loss of the day against No. 4 Harvard, falling 16-11.
> The team bounced back in its final two matches, dominating host Sacred Heart 22-5 and No. 8 Vassar (DIII) 25-2 to close out the meet.
