Field Hockey Named NFHCA Division I National Academic Team

BROCKPORT, N.Y. -Â The Temple field hockey program had another outstanding performance in the classroom last semester, with the Owls earning a NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award honor.
The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year, with 79 programs earning the honor. The Owls finished well above the 3.0 mark, posting a 3.51.Â
One Division I academic award remains to be released, the NFHCA Division I National Scholar-Athlete will be announced on February 23. The Division I National Academic Squad and Division I Scholars of Distinction were announced earlier this month.
