Frey, Maes Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After helping lead Temple field hockey to a 2-0 weekend and snap a four-game slump, Molly Frey and Alizé Maes were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. This is the third conference honor for Frey and second for Maes.
Frey allowed just one goal on the weekend and posted her third shutout of the season against Delaware. The Eagleville, Pa. native recorded five saves and helped lead a defense that successfully defended seven of seven penalty corner attempts.

Maes had a three-point weekend, scoring the go-ahead goal and assisting on the game-winner Friday at Georgetown. The Antwerp, Belgium native fired four shots, putting two on target.
The Owls will return to the pitch on Oct. 20 to host city-rival and BIG EAST opponent Villanova.
