Kinzel, Maes Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After helping lead the Owls to a dominant 4-0 victory over Villanova last weekend, Devin Kinzel and Alizé Maes were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. This is the first conference honor for Kinzel and third for Maes.

Kinzel scored two goals in the 4-0 win over Villanova, including the game-winner. She fired a season-high seven shots with five on target against the Wildcats and helped lead a DPC unit that successfully defended 10 of 11 penalty corners.

Maes scored one goal and posted two assists. She fired four shots with three on target, including a season-high three against Villanova. The Antwerp, Belgium native helped lead a defense that allowed 12 total shots and holding the Wildcats to just two shots.

The Owls will return to the pitch Friday afternoon to close their league slate at Quinnipiac. A win over the Bobcats will clinch Temple's berth to the BIG EAST Tournament.
