Tess Mueller Named Second Team All-Region

GENEVA, N.Y. - Junior Temple field hockey forward/midfielder Tess Mueller has been named Second Team Mid-Atlantic Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. This is the fifth consecutive season at least one Temple field hockey player has been named All-Region. Mueller was previously named First Team All-Conference by the BIG EAST.

Muller leads the team in goals with six goals, four of which have been game-winners. She is tied for second on the team with six assists and has taken the majority of the team's penalty corner inserts. Her 29 shots rank second on the team, putting 21 on target for a .724 shots on goal percentage. The Naarden, Netherlands native assisted on two of the goals in the overtime win at Quinnipiac and posted a season-high three shots in the 4-0 victory over Villanova.
