Field Hockey Announces 2023 Spring Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - After having one of the best seasons in recent memory, the Temple field hockey team will look to build on its momentum with a strong spring slate that features two home events.Â
The Owls will open the spring schedule at home, hosting La Salle on March 25 at 4 p.m. before hosting Penn, Villanova, La Salle, and Saint Joseph's for the City 5 Tournament on April 1.Â
Temple will hit the road for the final three events, heading down the road to Lafayette on April 7 at 6 p.m. before traveling to Delaware on April 15 for an eight team tournament hosted by the Blue Hens. The Cherry and White will close out the spring season at Princeton on April 22 at 9:30 a.m.
The team ended the 2022 season 13-6 (4-3 BIG EAST) and ranked No. 23 by the NFHCA, entering the rankings earlier in the season for the first time since 2014. Temple advanced to the BIG EAST tournament for the third-straight year, falling to host No. 13 Old Dominion in a shootout in the semifinals.Â
