Maes Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - After helping lead the Temple field hockey went 2-0 last weekend to snap a two-game skid, Alizé Maes has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Maes recorded two assists on the weekend, including on the game-winner against LIU. She fired seven shots, putting four on target, including a career-high six against the Sharks. The Antwerp, Belgium native helped lead the Temple defense to its first shutout of the season and successfully defend seven of eight penalty corners during the weekend.
The Owls will return home to host UConn in the team's league opener on Sept. 15.
