Temple Crew Starts Fall Season at Navy Day Regatta Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's crew team starts the 2024 fall season on Sunday, October 13 with the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill River. The Owls will have nine boats entered into three different events of head-style races that begin at 8:30 a.m. Competition for Temple is slated to start at 9:18 a.m. with the men's open pair event.

9:34 a.m. - Men's Collegiate 4+ (4 Entries)
12:30 p.m. - Men's Collegiate 8+ (3 Entries)

ABOUT THE OWLS

Seniors Dimitrios Stasinos and Brayden MacBride were named captains for the 2024-25 season, and Patrick Lamb was recognized as commodore by head coach Brendan Cunningham.
Stasinos was stroke in last year's varsity eight that earned bronze at the Dad Vail Regatta, while MacBride was two seat.
Lamb stroked the third varsity eight to a silver at Dad Vails and helped Temple's 2V8 win gold at last year's Navy Day Regatta.
Last year, the Owls finished 21st in the IRA Ten Eyck Team Points standings with all three varsity eight boats finishing in the Top 25.
The 2V8 led the group with a final ranking of No. 18 nationally, while the 3V8 closed 20th and the V8 in 23rd.
