POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The No. 11 Temple fencing team continued its dual meet schedule on Sunday at the Tradition Meet hosted by Vassar College. The Owls went undefeated (5-0), securing victories over LIU, NJIT, NYU, Sacred Heart, and Vassar.

MEET SUMMARY

Temple opened the day with decisive victories over LIU and NJIT, both by a score of 22-5.
The next contest against NYU went down to the wire, with the Owls narrowly edging out a 14-13 win.
Temple then faced Sacred Heart, finishing with a 23-4 advantage, before concluding the day with another 22-5 victory, this time over host school Vassar.
Temple posted a combined 91-32 (.739) on Sunday, marking the team's highest bout-winning percentage since achieving an 83-19 (.813) mark at the 2023 Sacred Heart Duals.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS

With her nine victories, Constanca Dimas surpassed the 100-win milestone in her collegiate career.
Six Owls recorded eight or more wins on the day, highlighted by foilist Natalie Adams-Kim (10-1) and sabreist Samantha Nathanson (10-2).
Facing a 2-4 deficit to NYU, the foil trio of Dimas, Adams-Kim, and Anna Novoseltseva each secured wins in their third bout, giving Temple a 5-4 foil advantage. This proved crucial, as the Owls narrowly took the overall contest, 14-13.
