Aschenbach, Kinzel Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Halle Aschenbach and Devin Kinzel of the Temple field hockey team have both been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll for the week ending on September 1, 2024.Â
Aschenbach recorded six points on two goals and two assists. She recorded a goal and an assist in each game of the weekend, scoring the game-winner against Queens (NC) on Sunday. The tallies were the first of her career.Â
Kinzel scored a goal in each of the contests as well, recording the final goal against Queens and finding the back of the cage to make it 2-0 against Lock Haven on Sunday.Â
The Owls are back in action on Friday when they travel to No. 3 Virginia before a matchup at Richmond on Sunday. The Richmond game time has been moved to 11:00 a.m.
