Rieger Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Temple University field hockey senior midfielder/forward Peyton Rieger has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performance in the Owls' win over Quinnipiac, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Rieger tallied a goal and an assist in Temple's 3-0 victory over the Bobcats. The native of Woolwich, New Jersey, now leads the Owls in goals (6), assists (5) and points (17).
Among BIG EAST leaders, Rieger ranks tied for second in goals, fifth in assists and fourth in points.
She has now been recognized by the conference three times this season, including two BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Rieger and the Owls (9-2, 2-1 BIG EAST) return to action Friday at 3 p.m. against UConn (5-5, 2-1 BIG EAST) at Howarth Field in a rematch of the 2024 BIG EAST Championship.
