Gymnastics Set to Face No. 8 Kentucky on the Road

LEXINGTON, KY - Temple will travel to Lexington, KY, for a dual meet with No. 8 Kentucky on Friday, February 14 starting at 7:00 PM. The Owls are competing against their third top-ten ranked opponent of the season in tomorrow's meet.
VAULT Â
Temple performed strongly on vault in the Alumni Night meet, earning a team total of 48.500. Kyrstin Johnson led the way with an impressive 9.775, while Amelia Budd followed closely with a 9.750. Renee Schugman contributed a solid 9.725, and Hannah Weklar added a steady 9.700. Harmony Haro and Nikki Rengifo rounded out the lineup with matching scores of 9.550 to complete the rotation.
BARS
Temple performed solidly in Rotation 2 on bars, earning a team total of 48.650. Weklar and Sarah Stallings led the way with impressive scores of 9.800. Mariella Brueck and Megan White followed closely, each delivering a strong 9.775. Reese DeHaan added a 9.500, while Breanna Varano rounded out the lineup with a 9.050 to complete the rotation.
BEAMÂ
Temple continued its strong performance on beam in Rotation 3, posting a team total of 48.825. Brooke Donabedian delivered a standout performance, earning a meet-high 9.925 to lead the Owls. Robyn Dunne followed with an impressive 9.850, while Summer Ruskey and White each posted solid 9.700s. Madison Dorunda contributed a strong 9.650, and Schugman rounded out the lineup with a 9.300 to complete the rotation.
FLOOR
The Owls closed the Alumni Night meet on the floor, earning a team total of 48.475. Donabedian set the tone with a strong 9.800. Schugman followed with a solid 9.750, while Dorunda and Johnson each contributed 9.650. Ruskey added a 9.625, and Weklar rounded out the final rotation with a 9.450 to complete the performance.
SCOUTING KENTUCKY
No. 8 Kentucky is a strong contender, with standout performances from Isabella Magnelli (9.950 on vault and beam) and Hailey Davis (career-high 9.950 on floor). The Wildcats posted a season-high 49.350 on vault and beam and saw substantial all-around contributions from Skylar Killough-Wilhelm. Their balanced team and impressive individual scores make them a formidable opponent for Temple in the upcoming dual meet.
