Gymnastics Posts a 194.450 at the Rutgers Quad Meet

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Temple Owls finished second at the Rutgers Quad Meet posting a score of 194.450. Brooke Donabedian and Renee Schugman shined for the Cherry & White tonight with Donabedian posting a season-high 9.925 on floor. The Owls as a team finished with a season-high on floor, scoring a 49.200.

ROTATION 1 (BARS: 47.850)
- Hannah Weklar, once again, led the way for the Owls on bars tonight, scoring a 9.850 on the opening event of the night.
- This marks the fourth straight week Weklar has scored a 9.800 or higher on bars.
- Kyrstin Johnson set a career-high on bars tonight, posting a 9.700 in just her third time competing on the apparatus.
- Sarah Stallings scored her ninth-straight 9.700 or higher on bars tonight, finishing with a 9.775.Â
ROTATION 2 (BEAM:48.650 )
- Robyn Dunne led the way for the Owls on the night's second apparatus, beam. The freshman dropped a 9.825, her fifth score on beam of 9.800 or higher this season.
- Renee Schugman opened her night with a solid 9.800 on beam, coming just short of a season-high for the fifth year.
- Megan White shined in her routine for Temple on beam, finishing with a 9.775.
ROTATION 3 (FLOOR: 49.200)
- The Cherry & White shined on floor tonight, posting a season-high 49.200 on the apparatus.
- Brooke Donabedian led the charge for Temple scoring her season-high score of 9.925.Â
- Schugman followed behind finishing with a 9.875, also her season-high.
- Johnson finished the night on floor with a 9.850, her second-best performance on floor this season.
- Donabedian, Schugman, and Johnson posted the top-three scores on floor during tonight's meet.
ROTATION 4 (VAULT: 48.775)

- Amelia Budd stood out on vault for the Owls tonight. The sophomore tied a career-high 9.850 on vault to lead the way. This score tied for the top score in tonight's meet.
- Nikki Rengifo, Renee Schugman, and Kyrstin Johnson all posted a 9.750 on the apparatus.
- Summer Ruskey and Hannah Weklar rounded out the night for Temple on vault, each scoring a 9.675.
UP NEXT
- Temple will travel to Nebraska for the final regular season meet next on Saturday, March 15 beginning at 7:30 EST. The Owls will be taking on Nebraska, Iowa State, and Texas Woman's University.
