- The Temple women's basketball team (13–16, 7–10 American) fell to the USF Bulls (19–11, 12–5 American) on the road Tuesday evening, 82–36.
- Tristen Taylor led the Owls in scoring with 11 points (3-for-8 FG). Ariana Meriedy recorded a career-high eight points while also grabbing a career-high seven rebounds. Meriedy also tied a season high with three blocks against USF.
- The Owls' 36 points marked their lowest scoring total since 2022, when Temple scored 31 against USF. Temple went 11-for-36 from the field, its lowest made field-goal total since 2022 against UCF.
- Temple's 15 points marked its lowest-scoring first half since 2024 against Princeton, when the Owls scored 17 points.
- Temple defeated FAU, 75–69, in overtime last year in Boca Raton. The Owls are 2–0 in their last two matchups against FAU, including a 74–53 win in Philadelphia during the 2023–24 season.
