The Temple women's basketball team (13–16, 7–10 American) fell to the USF Bulls (19–11, 12–5 American) on the road Tuesday evening, 82–36.
Tristen Taylor led the Owls in scoring with 11 points (3-for-8 FG). Ariana Meriedy recorded a career-high eight points while also grabbing a career-high seven rebounds. Meriedy also tied a season high with three blocks against USF.
The Owls' 36 points marked their lowest scoring total since 2022, when Temple scored 31 against USF. Temple went 11-for-36 from the field, its lowest made field-goal total since 2022 against UCF.
Temple's 15 points marked its lowest-scoring first half since 2024 against Princeton, when the Owls scored 17 points.
Temple defeated FAU, 75–69, in overtime last year in Boca Raton. The Owls are 2–0 in their last two matchups against FAU, including a 74–53 win in Philadelphia during the 2023–24 season.
