2010: Started in all 21 games as a junior...Scored first career goal in a 3-2 win vs. Lock Haven on Oct. 31...Also tallied an assist in that game and another in a win at Georgetown (9/5)...Took 28 total shots, 11 on goal.
2009: Appeared in 20 games while making 16 starts on defense for the Owls...Helped anchor a defense that posted four shutouts on the season...Notched one defensive save...Registered four shots and two on goal.
2008: Saw significant minutes in all 20 games, making 13 starts...Posted one assist and three shots...Named a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team.
High School: Tallied 18 goals and 20 assists in her senior season at Christopher Dock High School....A team captain, she was selected first-team Bicentennial Athletic League, The Intelligencer All-Area first-team, and team MVP during her senior campaign....Three-year letterwinner and member of three consecutive BAL championship teams....Participant in the Keystone Games and won two field hockey gold medals and two National Indoor gold medals.
Personal: Younger sister of former Owl Charise Young ('10), who became Temple's assistant coach prior to the 2011 season...Major is communication.
