Owls finish the regular season with two Atlantic 10 matchups
PHILADELPHIA – After traveling to Richmond for a Friday afternoon contest on Oct. 29, the Temple Field Hockey team will return home to wrap up its regular season with Senior Day this Sunday, Oct. 31 at home against Lock Haven. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m., and Temple will honor its four seniors prior to the start of the contest.
The Owls currently stand in a tie for third place in the Atlantic 10 with a record of 3-2, and must drop no lower than fourth in order to earn a berth in next weekend's four-team A-10 Tournament. Temple is tied with Richmond and Saint Joseph's, but would win the tiebreaker against Saint Joseph's by virtue of its win against the Hawks.
Lock Haven looks poised to earn a tournament berth as the Eagles currently rank second with a record of 4-1. Lock Haven is 13-5 overall this season.
The A-10 Tournament will be held at Temple's Geasey Field on November 5-6. The semifinals are set for 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, with the championship game set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6.
About Temple's four seniors:

Dalrymple is majoring in sport and recreation management.
During her five years at Temple, Katey DeIaco developed into an anchor at the midfield position. DeIaco has played in 56 games, starting 24 contests after red-shirting her first year on North Broad Street. She recorded her first goal in the 2009 season. Off the field, DeIaco is one of field hockey's representatives on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is majoring in strategic and organizational communication.
Taryn Nichols, a team co-captain and starting right forward, has made strong contributions to the program since her freshman season in 2007. After appearing in 19 games in her first season, Nichols saw significant time in all 20 matches of the 2008 season scoring one goal and one assist.
