Men's XC Looks to Carry Momentum Into Paul Short Invitational Friday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Looking to carry the momentum from its first place finish at the Friend Invitational two weeks ago, Temple Men's Cross Country heads to Lehigh University for the 39th Annual Paul Short Invitational. The Owls will take part in the Gold 8k race beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
Sophomore Cullen Davis returns to the slopes after claiming his first career meet title in the Owls' last time out while redshirt senior Travis Mahoney makes his season debut.
Also coming off a very impressive race as well is junior Will Kellar, who earned the runner-up spot with a time of 27:49.
In this event last year, Temple placed 44th overall and was led by sophomore Matthew Kacyon, who finished with a time of 26:35. At the Friend Invitational, Kacyon was the Owls' third fastest runner with a time of 28:06.
