NEW YORK
- Temple distance runners earned three top-eight finishes on the second and final day of the American Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Owls' top performance was by junior Alex Izewski who placed fifth in the 3000m.

Izewski was just six-tenths off the school record in the 3k with his IC4A qualifying time of 8:21.40. Junior Matt Kacyon was close behind, placing eighth in an IC4A qualifying time of 8:24.92. For Kacyon it was a personal best, while for Izewski it was a mere three-hundredths of a second off his best time.

In the men's mile final, senior Will Kellar turned in an eighth-place finish in a time of 4:15.84.
