STOCKTON, Calif. - Three first-half goals stood as the final tally for Pacific field hockey as the Tigers (1-1) handed Temple (0-2) its second loss on the Owls' season-opening trip to California. Temple returns home for a pair of games next weekend and will host #6 Penn State in its home opener at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31.

> All three goals were scored in the first 22 minutes. Pacific took an early lead just four minutes in before adding a second goal at 23:32 and a third at 13:33.
