EASTON, Pa. - With seven and a half minutes left, redshirt senior Maris Stern scored on a penalty corner to break open a tie and help Temple field hockey earn a 3-2 road win at Lafayette (0-4). The Owls (1-4) had three different goal-scorers in their first win of 2018.

Game Summary
> The Owls got on the board first with sophomore Mia Sexton scoring on a corner in the 12th minute off assists from sophomores Taylor Alba and Dani Batze.
> Temple's 1-0 lead stood until the very end of the first half. The Leopards tied the game with time expired on a penalty corner, sending the teams into the break knotted at 1-1.
> Just two and a half minutes into the second half, Lafayette was awarded a penalty stroke and Anna Steps converted for the Leopards, giving them a 2-1 lead.
