Men's Basketball Hosts SMU Wednesday at 2 PM

PHILADELPHIA - Temple (1-1, 0-1 AAC) closes out an abbreviated 2020 portion of its men's basketball schedule with an undefeated SMU team (5-0, 1-0) at the Liacouras Center Wednesday (2 pm/ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT).Â
SCOUTING TEMPLE
> The Owls will be looking to rebound from a 76-50 loss at the AAC's top team, #6/7 Houston, on Dec. 22.Â
> Redshirt freshman Damian Dunn (12.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg) and senior co-captain J.P. Moorman II (11.0 ppg) top a balanced Temple offense.Â
> Senior co-captain De'Vondre Perry (7.0 ppg) leads the conference in rebounding (11.0 rpg) and had pulled down nine offensive caroms.
> Freshman Jeremiah Williams has shown why he was given the reins of the team from the opening tap, leading the Owls in assists (4.0 apg), steals (1.5 spg) and minutes (33.5 mpg). He is also third in scoring (9.5 ppg).
