Field Hockey to Continue League Play, Host Lafayette for Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team will split its time this weekend between home and road play, heading to No. 15 Old Dominion to continue league play and hosting Lafayette for senior day.
Scouting Temple
> The Owls are 7-7 (3-2 BIG EAST) and on a three-game slump, dropping two con-conference matchups and a game to No. 9 Liberty.Â
> Temple is fourth in the league standings, with Liberty at the top and Old Dominion tied for second place with UConn.Â
>Â The Cherry and White is 2-5 at Howarth Field, with four losses coming against top-25 programs. The team has fared better on the road, going 5-2 and recording three of its five shutouts.
> The Temple offense has spread the love, with eight Owls scoring so far this season. Julianne Kopec leads the team with five while Grace Angelella, McKenna Burkhardt, Kerrie Lorenz, and Tess Muller round out the multiple goal scorers with two.
> Graduate transfer Megan Ragusa is a force in the cage, recording 45 of the team's 51 saves and posting five clean sheets to rank second in the conference. Ragusa has allowed 22 goals for a 0.676 save percentage and enters the weekend 27th in the nation with a 1.57 GAA.

> The Monarchs are 11-3 (4-1 BIG EAST) on the season and are on a two-game winning streak.

> Old Dominion has outscored its opponents 34-24, and Marlon de Bruijne's 10 goals lead the team.
> Two Monarchs have seen time in the cage, with Cam MacGillivray seeing the bulk of the minutes. Her 1.71 GAA is 32nd in the NCAA and her save percentage (0.696) is fifth in the conference.
