Women's Basketball Suffers Loss to UCF

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's basketball team (12-11, 7-5 AAC) was handed a 30-plus point loss by the UCF Knights (20-3, 12-1 AAC) on Saturday afternoon. Temple struggled offensively, as they shot 23.1% from the field and 8.3% from behind the arc. The Owls were also plagued by turnovers, as Temple had 21 of them in the game.

First Quarter: Temple 8, UCF 20
> Both teams struggled offensively to start the game, as each team had only two points apiece in the first three minutes.
> The only two field goals in the period for the Owls were layups made by Wood, both being assisted by Mia Davis.
> The Knights started to heat up towards the end of the quarter with an 18-4 run to increase their lead.
Second Quarter: Temple 14, UCF 26
