Men’s Basketball Hosts Wichita State Thursday

PHILADELPHIA – Temple will look to get back to its winning ways when the Owls host the Wichita State Shockers Thursday (7 pm/ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT) at the Liacouras Center.
Temple (14-12, 8-5 AAC) is tied with Cincinnati (17-9, 8-5) for fourth place in the AAC standings with five games remaining. The top five teams earn an all-important first round bye in the conference championship. Wichita State (13-12, 6-7) sits in seventh place, a game-and-a-half behind Temple. This is a key game as it is the only meeting between the schools.

> Khalif Battle leads the team and ranks fourth in the American Athletic Conference in scoring (18.6 ppg). He has scored 20 points in a team-best 13 games, including the last five.
