Men's Basketball Heads to Cincinnati for Key AAC Showdown

CINCINNATI - Fresh off a 76-53 win over Tulsa, Temple heads on the road to Cincinnati for a key American Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday night (7 pm/ESPN2/1210 AM WPHT). Â
The Owls (15-13, 9-6 AAC) are tied with the Bearcats (18-10, 9-6) in the conference standings with three regular season games remaining. Both teams are looking to close strong as the top five teams in the conference secure first round byes in the AAC Championship.
SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Khalif Battle, who was not with the team against Tulsa, leads the Owls and ranks fourth in the American Athletic Conference in scoring (17.9 ppg). He has scored 20 points in a team-best 13 games. He also leads the league in free throw percentage (.898, 12th nationally) and ranks second in threes per game (2.85, t36th nationally).
> Damian Dunn ranks second on the team in scoring (14.6 ppg) and assists (3.1). He also leads the Owls (t35th in NCAA) in free throws made (122) and three-point percentage (41-108, .380).
> Jamille Reynolds, who missed 10 games due to a thumb injury, ranks third on the team in scoring (9.9 ppg) while leading the team in rebounding (5.6 rpg) and field goal percentage (.595).

> David DeJulius ranks second on the Bearcats in scoring (14.4 ppg) while leading the team in assists (5.14, 4th AAC).Â
