Field Hockey Takes on Cross-Town Rival Penn on Friday

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team continues its road trip, but stays local, traveling to University City on Friday afternoon to take on the Penn Quakers on Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
Scouting Temple
The Owls enter the game 2-2 overall
Temple is led offensively by Halle Aschenbach who has eight points on three goals an two assists. She had found the back of the cage in three of the four contests this season.
Tess Muller, Marsha Ariesen, Devin Kinzel and Peyton Rieger each have a pair of goals.Â
TU is 2-0 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania this season with a win each against Queens and Lock Haven.

The Quakers have challenged themselves early on, facing No. 2 North Carolina and No. 7 Louisville in their first two games.Â
Julia Ryan scored Penn's first goal of the season against the Cardinals on Sunday.Â
The Quakers went 7-10 last season, but posted a 5-2 record in the Ivy League.Â
Colleen Fink is in her 14th season leading Penn with an overall record of 109-112.Â
