UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Temple men's and women's cross country team ran this morning at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational hosted by Penn State. The men placed 9th out of 18 schools. The Owls will be back in action on Friday, Sept 20th for the Main Line Invitation at Haverford College.

Penn State finished first on the women's side, while Syracuse took first in the men's race. Junior Graham Thomas led the pack for the Cherry and White, finishing 30th out of 197 athletes. Thomas was accompanied by David Troy (32nd) and Mattia Zen (50th) also finishing in the top 50. Freshman Amelia Sabatino delivered another strong performance with an impressive 5k race.
