Women's Gymnastics Readies for Two-Meet Weekend

TOWSON, MD – The Owls are preparing for two meets this weekend, starting with the Towson Meet on Friday, where they will compete against William & Mary, New Hampshire, George Washington, and host Towson. On Sunday, Temple will host the Women in Sports Meet, facing LIU, New Hampshire, George Washington, and Towson.

BARS
Temple opened the last meet against William & Mary with a team total of 47.800 on bars. Sarah Stallings led the way with a strong 9.775, setting the tone for the competition. Hannah Weklar followed with a solid 9.725, while Reese DeHaan and Megan White each contributed steady scores of 9.675. Breanna Varano and Mariella Brueck rounded out the rotation with scores of 8.950 and 8.675, respectively.

VAULT
The Owls improved in the second rotation, earning a team score of 48.075 on vault. Harmony Haro posted the team's highest score with a standout 9.750, while Nikki Rengifo followed closely with a 9.700. Amelia Budd delivered a strong 9.675, and Renee Schugman added a solid 9.625. Weklar and Kyrstin Johnson wrapped up the lineup with scores of 9.325 and 8.550.

FLOOR
Temple performed strongly on the floor, finishing with a 48.400 team total. Brooke Donabedian led the Owls with an impressive 9.750, while Schugman and Johnson each posted a strong 9.700. Madison Dorunda, Summer Ruskey, and Rengifo contributed consistent routines, all scoring 9.625 to showcase the team's depth in this rotation.

BEAM
The Owls closed the meet with their best event of the day, earning a season-high 48.725 on beam. Schugman and White led the rotation with matching 9.775 scores, while Dorunda, Donabedian, and Ruskey followed with strong 9.725 performances. Robyn Dunne capped off the rotation with a solid 9.700 to seal Temple's highest beam score of the season.

SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Wildcats posted a strong 194.325 during the dual meet with LIU, highlighted by Reade's career-best 9.800 on vault and a sweep of the top four bars scores, led by Mullin's 9.725. Mullin also placed second on beam (9.725), while McMullen tied for third (9.700). Reade matched her career high on the floor (9.850) to win the event, with Mullin (9.825) and Challman (9.800) rounding out the top three.

SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY
W&M posted a 190.000 at the dual meet with Temple, led by Caroline Blatchford's 9.725 on the beam and Hannah Burke's 9.750 on the floor. Sarah Kuper scored 9.575 on vault and bars, while Catherine Bare (9.750) and Sarah Wozniak (9.775) paced the team on bars.

SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
Revolutionaries took first in the Lindsey Ferris Invitational, giving Head Coach Stephanie Stoicovy Worrell her first career win. Delaney DeHaan and Kendall Whitman brought the win home for the Revolutionaries with exceptional floor routines to secure the meet. DeHaan's career-best 9.900 and Whitman's first-place score of 9.950 gave the Buff & Blue the boost it needed to top second-place Penn by .375 points.

SCOUTING TOWNSON
Towson kicked off its season with a win at the UPenn-hosted tri-meet, scoring 193.250 to beat UPenn (191.500), Yale (191.500), and Ursinus (188.425). The Tigers topped every rotation, with Isabella Minervini winning the all-around in her debut. Ava Harper's 9.850 on vault led the team, while Clara Hong (9.900), Chelsey Dennis, and Celia Trotter earned podium finishes on beam.

SCOUTING LIU
LIU competed against New Hampshire, scoring 194.325. Standout performances included Aine Reade with 9.800 on Vault and 9.850 on Floor, and Serena Mullin with 9.725 on Bars and 9.825 on Floor. Despite some lower scores, especially on Uneven Bars, the team showed substantial depth, with Stacy Boss scoring 9.750 on Floor and Anne Challman earning 9.800.

UP NEXT
The Owls will return to action at home on Saturday, February 8, at 5 p.m. ET for Alumni Night. Temple will compete against Southern Connecticut State, Fisk, and UPenn.
