Gymnastics Deliver Impressive Performance to Claim Third at Towson Invite

TOWSON, MD – Temple University secured a third-place finish at the Towson meet with a team score of 194.700, trailing only George Washington (195.750) and host Towson (195.400). The Owls put together a strong performance across all four events, edging New Hampshire (193.850) and William & Mary (192.850) to claim a top-three spot.

- The Owls shined on the Floor, with Brooke Donabedian leading the way with a 9.750.
- Schugman zcored a 9.725, while Madison Dorunda (9.700) and Summer Ruskey (9.650) followed.
ROTATION 2 (VAULT: 48.875)
- On Vault, Kyrstin Johnson earned the team's highest score with an impressive 9.875, while Hannah Weklar tallied a 9.775.
- Amelia Budd contributed a strong 9.750, and Schugman added a solid 9.775.
- Harmony Haro and Nikki Rengifo finished the rotation with scores of 9.700 and 9.675, respectively.
ROTATION 3 (BARS: 48.275)
- Weklar led the team on Bars with a 9.775, with Sarah Stallings finishing close behind with a 9.725.
- Both Reese DeHaan and Megan White added solid scores of 9.600.
- Breanna Varano and Mariella Brueck rounded out the rotation with scores of 9.525.
ROTATION 4 (BEAM: 49.200)
- The team saved their best for last, achieving their highest Beam score of the season. Robyn Dunn led the way with a career-high score of 9.875.
- Megan White finished with a 9.825, also a career-high. Dorunda and Schugman tallied a 9.850.
- Donabedian and Ruskey rounded out the night with 9.800 and 9.700, respectively.
