PHILADELPHIA – Temple gymnastics earned the biggest win of the 2025 season in a 195.125-191.575 contest over Bowling Green on Senior Night. Three Owls set career-highs in route to the highest score of the season for Temple.

ROTATION 1 (VAULT):

The Owls set the tone of the night right from the start on beam, posting one of the highest vault scores of the season as a team.
Hannah Weklar and Kyrstin Johnson led the way scoring a 9.800, for the top score in the meet.
Renee Schugman and Amelia Budd tallied a 9.775 and a 9.725, respectfully.

ROTATION 2 (BARS):

The best event of the night for Temple came from the bars in the dual meet.
The team set a season-high score of 48.875 on the apparatus, while Hannah Weklar and Mariella Brueck posted career-high scores.
The duo finished the event each scoring a 9.825.
Sarah Stallings and Reese DeHaan finished behind as they scored 9.800 and 9.725, respectfully.

ROTATION 3 (BEAM):

Two seniors stole the show on beam in tonight's meet, Madison Dorunda and Brooke Donabedian.
Dorunda scored a season-high 9.875 on the event, good enough for first place in the meet. Donabedian finished close behind with a 9.750.
Megan White matches Donabedian's score, as well.

ROATATION 4 (FLOOR):

Three members of the Cherry & White finished with at least a 9.800 on floor tonight.
Donabedian tied for the top floor performance with a 9.850.
Johnson and Brueck each posted a 9.800, which was a career-high for Brueck in this event.
Nikki Rengifo didn't fall far behind, as she scored a 9.750.

UP NEXT

Temple will travel to the Tar Heel State to face North Carolina, Penn, and Yale next Friday, February 28 at 6:45 PM.
