Bio
Kristen Foley returns for her ninth year at TU, where she oversees the
administration of 14 of sports, including budget construction, scheduling contests, and evaluation of coaches. She also is the liaison to the Office of the Provost regarding the Student-Athlete Academic Advising and Support Center.
Foley serves as a member of four Atlantic 10 Committees: Management, Championships & Equity, Lacrosse, and Women[apos]s Rowing, where she presides as chair. Previously, she chaired the NCAA Fencing Committee (2004-06) and was a member of the NCAA Women[apos]s Basketball Rules Committee from 2002-06. Foley was the Tournament Director for the 2005 Women[apos]s Basketball Regional and 2004 First and Second Rounds.
Appointed to her current position in 2000, Foley entered athletic administration with 13 years of Division I women[apos]s basketball coaching experience, including a five-year stint as head coach at Temple (1995-00).
Foley earned her bachelor[apos]s degree (1986) and a master[apos]s degree in Educational Administration (1991) from Rutgers. She helped lead RU to Elite Eight appearances in 1986 and 1987, and was named to the All-East Regional team in 1986.
