PHILADELPHIA - The 2012 Temple field hockey team saw its first competitive action of the season on Saturday afternoon, playing its own alums in the annual Cherry & White Game at Geasey Field. Click the link above for video clips and a post-game interview with head coach Amanda Janney.
Unofficially, the current Owls won the game by a score of 7-2. Goalkeepers Lizzy Millen and Haley Mitchell played for opposite teams in each half of the game. Temple will begin its regular season at home next weekend on Friday, Aug. 24 in a game against Virginia at 4:00 p.m.
