Field Hockey Falls 2-0 to Liberty

PHILADELPHIA - In its first home game since the season-opening win against Hofstra, the Temple field hockey team fell 2-0 to Liberty Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Owls fall to 1-3 (0-3 BIG EAST) while the Flames improve to 4-0 (3-0 BIG EAST).
Recapping the Game
> Temple had two good looks in the first quarter on two penalty corners, but couldn't convert and the game was scoreless through the first 15 minutes.
> Liberty scored the go-ahead goal at the 24-minute mark, with Julie Daels scoring on the deflection off a Temple save.
> The Flames sealed the game in the third quarter with their second goal of the day coming off a penalty corner.
