HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gavin Griffiths got Temple on the board early, finishing off an inbound feed from Jordan Mason. From there, the game stayed tight, with Boston College holding a 15–8 edge at the first media timeout.

- It was a chippy contest for the remainder of the first half as each side combined for 34 points in the paint with Boston College holding a five-point advantage heading into the halftime break, 36-31.
- The Owls started the second half strong, courtesy of a one-handed flush from Aiden Tobiason, which sparked the Temple offense to even the game at 41 through four minutes of play in the second frame.
- Midway through the second half, the Owls found a spark with three highlight plays. Derrian Ford absorbed heavy contact on a physical layup to complete a three-point play. On the next BC possession, Mohamed Keita erased a scoring chance with a key block. Moments later, Tobiason drilled a deep jumper through contact for a four-point play.
- In a one-possession game, BC would counterattack with two key jumpers from Mark Radunovic and Luka Toews. This sparked an 8-0 run to extend the Eagle lead to nine with eight minutes remaining in the contest.
- Boston College extended its momentum late, converting on five straight field goals down the stretch. Griffiths delivered a final spark for Temple with three perimeter makes in the closing minutes, but the Eagles held firm and closed out a 76–71 victory.
